Love Follows Dulzo

In a surprise move, the Music Hall has allowed Jim Dulzo to resign as director of Montreux Detroit Jazz Festival — after he made the festival a musical and commercial success. No one person has been appointed to do Dulzo's job, but WDET disc jockey Ed Love is now working as programming director. He will announce headliners of the Labor Day festival in May. The Music Hall also changed the name of the festival to the Detroit International Jazz Festival.
