Changes at Rusty's

According to recent articles in the Toledo Blade, the state of Rusty's Jazz Cafe, one of two Toledo jazz clubs, is uncertain. Founder Margaret "Rusty" Monroe, 84, sold her namesake club last year, and the present owner, John Martinez, is reportedly planning to curtail live jazz to as little as one night per week.

Meanwhile, at Murphy's Place, Toledo's other jazz club, a new greeter is pacing the floor on Friday and Saturday nights: none other than Rusty Monroe.
