Old Town Jazz Series

The Old Town Tavern in Ann Arbor started a jazz series on Tuesdays in the late fall. The series is organized by local bassist and bandleader Dave Sharp, who also teaches at the Ann Arbor Music Center nearby. On some Tuesdays, the series has an educational component as teachers from the Music Center invite students to join the band, and SEMJA will provide some financial support for this effort.

The lineup for this month is:

• January 6: saxophonist Maria Navedo
• January 13: guitarist Jake Reichbart
• January 20: saxophonist Paul VornHagen
• January 27: Dave Sharp

The Old Town is located in downtown Ann Arbor at 122 West Liberty, corner of Ashley.
